Komaneko is a female kitten who lives with her grandfather in their mountain home, where Komaneko loves to make handicraft. Komaneko is looking forward to Christmas when she can see her papa and mama, and an early present arrives at her home.

Followed by a live Q&A session with the director Tsuneo Goda and stop-motion animator Hirokazu Minegishi, via skype from Japan.

Manga Drawing Workshop    "Let's draw your character!"  

Teacher: Asuka Tanaka  (Kodawari-Chaya : AKATSUKI)

Will see Asuka demonstrate how Manga characters are drawn and have the opportunity themselves to create their own manga characters with professional advice.

Previously stated as 15 years and over but due to the popular demand this has been lowered to 12 years.

The event will be held in the Chapter foyer at 15:00 pm.

Tickets are £5.00 each and are only available via the festival website as tickets are not available at the Chapter box office.

Children Who Chase Lost Voices

Asuna is a young girl who has been forced to grow up quickly due to the death of her father while her mother, a nurse, works long shifts at a hospital. When she is one day attacked by a fearsome creature, she is saved by a mysterious boy called Shun who says he comes from Agartha, the land of the dead which leads her into an incredible adventure.
